§ 18-2. Beer and wine; when sale prohibited.

(a)

The sale of beer and wine, or either beer or wine, in the town, between the hours of 12:00 midnight of each Saturday and 6:00 a.m. of each Sunday, is prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell beer and wine, or either beer or wine, in the town between the hours of 12:00 midnight of each Saturday and 6:00 a.m. of each Sunday.

(b)

The town council reserves the right to hear individual requests on a case by case basis and to grant/authorize additional hours for restaurants or night clubs to sell beer and wine to be consumed on the premises only between 12:00 midnight and 2:00 a.m. The town council may impose any conditions or restrictions on any approved request that it deems necessary to protect the best interest of the town and its citizens.
