§ 18-1. Attempts to commit.
Every person who attempts to commit an offense which is a violation of this Code or other ordinance of the town has committed a violation; provided, however, that in no event shall the punishment for such an attempt to commit an offense exceed the maximum punishment had the offense been committed.
